Upon landing in Zurhn, Oneth is ambushed and taken captive. Convicted of treason, blasphemy, and heresy, he is sentenced to imprisonment beneath the castle. There, he does battle with the colossus, Zurhn, a thirty foot tall bipedal monster with a wolf’s head.

Is the stuff of legends
The elders said guardians, three,
Cover my exit

Guardians, represent the greatest fears of man,
Controlling concentric circles.

Of the human condition.

The story of my journey through hell

In the Flesh! Zurhn, the betrayer!
A colossus impossible to best
Standing double my height
Brandishing a jagged bloody maul

Puny little man
No one can force my retreat!
I will crush you like the insect you are!”
He points with his giant finger at a ring fashioned in the shape of his head
“This, is the item you seek. But, you sha’n’t acquire it!”

Pride is his weakness.
During the combat, I insult his senses.
My size and strenth wear down his endurance.
My mind awaits the moment he is reckless.

I am Oneth, of Tel Anorath.
Many foes have blocked my path.
So many of those poor sad souls,
Flee so quickly at the loss of their toes!

In the flesh! I’ve severed his finger,
And taken his ring!
I escape through the portal
While great Zurhn is in pain!
