He charters a voyage across the dangerous northern sea aboard a mysterious vessel. Captained by a man known only as “Lud”, this vessel possesses the power to submerge for days at a time, traveling beneath the ice that covers much of the ocean. Their passage is made difficult by giant animals, bad weather, and cabin fever.

The northern waters

His name is Ludd.
His vessel has no name.
